What kind of paper is Bingqiu paper

Bingqiu paper is a kind of material used to make Shibi (lion and tiger) in Shanwei, and it is only sold locally.

In Shanwei, the dance of the "tiger lion" is a common name for the lion, which in legend is called the mythical beast (without horns), an alias for the lion, whose shape resembles that of a lion, and which is commonly known as the "lion geibi" (lion aunty). The lion-beibi dance requires four to five dancers to appear on stage, i.e., the one who holds the lion's head, the one who holds the lion's tail, and the one who "leads the dancers" to play the roles of "Zi Wei Xing" (lion-beibi dan), "Da Dou Fo" (the land lord of the five directions), or "Mi Cui Niang" (the landlord of the five directions). The lion dancers are called "Mizuniang" (land goddess), "Mizuniang" (land goddess), and "Mizuniang" (land goddess). These lion dances are popularly known as "shibibikei". There are also popular myths and legends about the lion dances.

The lion dance has a unique shape, with a large lion head, a simple shape reflected in the large head and mouth, big eyes, golden horns and exaggerated artistic images, and is made of bamboo gabions, Bingqiu paper and pigment, with a length of more than 10 feet and a width of about 3 feet, and is characterized by traditional culture and etiquette. It is mainly performed during the Spring Festival, as well as on the occasion of the inauguration of ancestral temples and large-scale celebrations, and is honored as a dance to "drive away evil spirits" and "welcome good fortune". As a folk activity of Chinese traditional culture, it has been spreading joy for hundreds of years and inheriting the local traditional humanistic spirit of both military and civilization.
