What is the function of radar?

Among all kinds of modern reconnaissance means, radar reconnaissance is the most widely used. There are radars everywhere in the sky, the ground, the sea, the land, the sea and the air.

Today's radar has really become a "clairvoyance" on the battlefield. It can find targets thousands of miles away. It is almost unaffected by all weather conditions and can work all day. It can automatically search and track targets. It can distinguish between the enemy and us through certain auxiliary equipment according to pre-programmed passwords. Battlefield reconnaissance radar, also known as ground activity reconnaissance radar, is mainly used by army reconnaissance troops to detect and monitor the activities of weapons, vehicles, personnel and low-altitude aircraft on the ground.

Warning radars are deployed in coastal areas, frontier defense and deep areas, and some are located in high mountains, which are used to find long-range aircraft, missiles and ships and ensure sufficient combat preparation time.

There are also over-the-horizon radars, which are used to detect intercontinental missiles launched from the ground, some orbital bombing weapons, and high-speed strategic bombers that can fly at ultra-low altitude.
