What are the advantages and disadvantages of concrete?

(4) The construction technology is simple and changeable.

Concrete can be simply poured by hand. Construction methods such as pumping, spraying and underwater can also be flexibly adopted according to the characteristics of different engineering environments.

(5) Available steel bars

Although steel bar and concrete are two materials with different properties, their linear expansion coefficients are almost the same, so they can work together. It makes up for the shortcoming of low tensile strength of concrete and expands its application scope.

(6) It has high strength and durability.

The compressive strength of modern high-strength concrete can reach more than 100MPa, and it has high impermeability, frost resistance, corrosion resistance and carbonation resistance, and its durability can reach more than hundreds of years.
