What's the difference between media and media?

Media can be the abbreviation of mass media, media or media organization (from the macro level of the whole society, media organization is also a material carrier to spread content-media), or they can be collectively referred to. When we talk about media knowledge, media industry, media development and media competition, we all refer to the mass media, including media and institutions, but excluding telecommunications tools such as telephones and telecommunications institutions such as China Telecom.

The media is some kind, not some kind of mass media. Such as newspapers, some newspapers, newspaper media, printed media and electronic media.
