According to archaeologists, the Taihu Lake Basin in China, represented by Suzhou, is one of the oldest rice planting hometowns in the world, and traces of rice planting more than 8,000 years ago have been found in Dongshan Village site. In the northeast of Weiting, east of Suzhou ancient city, there is a straw shoe mountain, which has been planting rice for six or seven thousand years. It is a field project of Sino-Japanese cooperation project "Study on Ancient Paddy Field of Caoxieshan Site in Suzhou". Archaeology is conducted once a year from 1992 to 1995. More than 8,000 years ago, the ancestors of Suzhou thrived on rice, the most basic food, and created a splendid civilization. Food is often closely linked with rice, and people call Suzhou the land of plenty, which also contains thousands of years of cultural origins. When people use stone tools to process grains, many white rice noodles often appear. The Chinese character "fen" means "rice" and "powder", and the word "fen" comes from rice culture.
