The 2023 Spring Festival paper-cutting course is as follows:

Paper-cutting is mainly divided into five steps, which are: determining the pattern-preparing materials-drawing the pattern you want on the cardboard-folding paper according to the drawn pattern-and finally cutting off the hollowed-out part of the line with scissors.

1. Determine the pattern: First, confirm the pattern you need for paper cutting. Only when the pattern is determined can paper-cutting be handy. Beginners are advised not to choose complicated patterns, but to choose regular and symmetrical patterns, otherwise mistakes will easily occur in the subsequent paper-cutting steps.

2. Preparation materials: There are not many materials needed for paper cutting, usually cardboard, brushes, scissors and art knives.

3. Draw the figure you want on the cardboard: Draw the figure gently with a brush, not too deep, so as not to leave too obvious painting marks in the process of cutting out the work.

4. Fold the paper according to the drawing: This step is very simple. Just fold it back and forth according to the drawing. Pay attention to symmetrical folding?

5. Paper-cutting: After folding in half, slowly cut off the hollowed-out part of the line with scissors. If you encounter a place that is difficult to cut, you can cut it slowly with a utility knife. Be careful not to use too much force to avoid paper damage.

1. Printing and dyeing paper, China traditional paper-cutting artists will dye the paper with a brush into the traditional beautiful butterfly paper-cutting national red.

2. Hot stamping. After the dyed rice paper is dried, wrinkles usually appear. Use a hot iron to iron wrinkled paper.

3. Make a template. The image of the butterfly below is very simple. Draw the outline of a butterfly with a pencil.

4. Draw the template, take a piece of paper dyed and prepared by Zhang Gang, wet it, and then press the template on it. Such that one side of the template faces the kerosene lamp. The template and the place where the template is not covered will be blackened by kerosene lamps.

When the paper is completely dry, take off the template, and then leave the place where the kerosene lamp is smoked and the blank covered by the template. This is a paper-cut model.

5. Stacking: Put the paper-cut samples on a small pile of paper dyed with lewd colors, about 20 pieces, and then seal them together.

6. Paper-cutting. Paper-cutting artists in China usually choose sharp scissors with long handles and short toughness. Use it to cut the one with visible graphics, so that other papers can be cut at the same time. The first is to cut the pattern inside, and the second is to cut the edge outside.
