What is the Korean language and speech like?
Phonetics: Korean has 19 consonants and 21 vowels. There are two kinds of syllables: open syllables ending in vowels and closed syllables ending in consonants. There is a certain pattern of phonological combination,
except that all other consonants can appear before vowels. Korean has no tones. Grammar: Korean is an agglutinative language with a rich variety of word formation. Grammatical categories are represented by incremental additions (affixes). Nouns and pronouns have grammatical and numerical categories; numbers have grammatical categories; verbs have morphological, honorific, temporal, stylistic and hierarchical categories; adjectives have honorific, temporal, stylistic and hierarchical categories. Lexical categories can be categorized as corpora, predicates, modifiers and exclamations. Different "classes" are used for different objects. "Class" is generally divided into "honorific class", "reciprocal class" and "inferior class". Through this form, it can express respect, reciprocity, humility, intimacy, hatred and other different emotional colors and different social status. Sentence components can be divided into subject, predicate, complement, gerund and determiner. They are arranged in the order of subject at the beginning of the sentence, predicate at the end of the sentence, determiner before the constituent it qualifies, and complement and gerund before the predicate. Vocabulary: The vocabulary of the Korean language consists of three parts: inherent words, Chinese characters and loanwords from foreign languages. ? Korean has six dialects: northwest, northeast, central, southwest, southeast, and Jeju Island dialects. There are slight differences between the dialects. With the exception of the Jeju Island dialect, the other five dialects of the Chinese Korean language can be found in representative areas where the Korean people live. The script used by the Korean people in China is Korean, a phonetic script that corresponds to the script used in North and South Korea. It was created in the 15th century and was called "Jongmin Jungin" (训民正音), or "Jungin" for short, or "Proverbs", and was later renamed "Choson" ("朝鲜文"). Later, it was renamed Chosun.
