Education and Teaching in School of Social Sciences, Shanghai University

In addition to the professional education tasks of philosophy undergraduate and postgraduate students, the college also undertakes the teaching tasks of ideological and political theory courses from undergraduate to doctoral students. With the strong support of the school, the college has made unremitting efforts and explorations in solving the problems of ideological and political theory courses, and initially formed a new teaching mode of ideological and political courses with unique characteristics, which has won unanimous praise from classmates, superior departments and experts, and has also received media attention and reports. Together with Peking University, it has been included in the first batch of "six whys" pilot work of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities. Nowadays, the ideological and political theory course is undergoing a comprehensive transition from the 98 program to the 05 program, and the college is making new explorations according to the requirements of the 05 program. It can be expected that today's hard exploration and efforts will surely bear fruitful results in the near future.

The Adult Teaching Department of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences has set up adult teaching points in the extended campus and Jiading campus to recruit students majoring in international trade, public relations, law, administrative management and secretary, while Jiading campus recruits students majoring in public relations etiquette, law, public relations and business enterprise management. Self-taught students have rich experience in teaching and management, and standardized management is implemented for students. Over the years, the passing rate and graduation rate of candidates are among the best in the city's counterpart assistance points in the same major, and they have been praised by examiners many times. The Adult Education Office of the College has expanded the channels for running schools and held advanced education classes such as advanced seminars and master's courses in economic management.
