Jizang Bodhisattva, or Jizangwang Bodhisattva, was once phonetically translated as "Beggar's footsteps". The name is because of his "patience and immobility like the earth, meditation and deep as a secret treasure". He is one of the Four Great Bodhisattvas of Buddhism, along with Guanyin, Manjushri, and Puxian, and is highly revered by the world. With its "long history of repeated wishes", it is honored as the Great Wish of the Earth King Bodhisattva.
