Latin dance is a kind of dance full of explosive force, and the music of Latin dance is generally very rhythmic. In addition to some songs specifically for Latin dance, many popular songs with strong sense of rhythm are also commonly used music in Latin dance classes.

Latin dance is divided into national standard Latin dance and Latin dance style dance (namely folk Latin dance). International standard Latin dance also refers to sports dance, which is divided into rumba, cha-cha, cowboy, samba and bullfighting. Associations are divided into World Sports Dance Federation (WDSF), World International Standard Dance Federation (WDC), China International Standard Dance Federation (CBDF) and China Sports Dance Federation.
