The westernmost county in China is Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County.

Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County, under the Kashgar Prefecture of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
