In recent years, we have opened the course "China Traditional Culture and Traditional Chinese Medicine", and the students are very enthusiastic about signing up for elective courses, so this textbook came into being. Fortunately, colleagues who are familiar with this matter also seek this book through various channels. In view of the interests of readers and learners, on the basis of years of teaching and repeated compilation, we made further revisions and officially published them this year.

Traditional Chinese medicine is not just a medicine, it is extensive and profound, involving a wide range of collateral. "There are astronomy in the upper part, disciplines in the lower part, knowledge of personnel in the upper part, changes of yin and yang in the upper part, insects in the lower part, the beginning of happiness in the upper part, and twists and turns of zang-fu organs and meridians" (The Analects of Confucius by Zhang Jiebin in the Ming Dynasty), which is all-encompassing and can be described as a microcosm of China traditional culture. For modern young people, they don't know much about traditional culture, so it is necessary to carry out education in this area. Especially for students studying Chinese medicine, the study of this course is related to the acceptance and understanding of the basic theory of Chinese medicine. From the perspective of teaching, the lack of traditional cultural knowledge is also difficult to learn and master.
