First place in the women's Tai Ji Chuan championship.
In 2002, an accidental injury forced Cui to give up her long fist and practice Tai Ji Chuan instead. After more than three years of national team training, in 2008, she won the Tai Ji Chuan champion in the 7th Asian Wushu Championship, and the women's Tai Ji Chuan and Tai Ji Chuan all-around champions in the Beijing Olympic Games.
After retirement, Cui and her husband settled in Hangzhou and worked as teachers at Zhejiang International Studies University. She said that many children she usually contacts are not athletic enough, and her team created a set of Wuchang boxing for children. This set of boxing has five movements, and the whole routine is practiced for about 2 minutes. Between one stroke and one style, children can deeply feel the brilliance of China Wushu and the charm of China traditional culture.
