What is the basic viewpoint of Marxist journalism?
Marxist journalism has four basic viewpoints, namely, mouthpiece theory, party spirit theory, orientation theory and art theory. First of all, the mouthpiece theory
"mouthpiece theory" is a traditional judgment and image metaphor of Marxist journalism about the nature, function, role and orientation of news. On February 7, 2008+0849, when Marx sternly refuted the Prussian government's accusation against the New Rheinische Zeitung in court, he pointed out: "Newspapers, according to their mission, are defenders of society and are aimed at those in power."
Second, the party spirit theory.
To be a good mouthpiece of the Party and the people, journalism must adhere to the principle of proletarian party spirit. The principle of party spirit is the fundamental principle of Marxist news. Marxist journalism theory holds that journalism sponsored and led by proletarian political parties has party spirit, and the party's thoughts, thinking methods, political opinions and organizational principles must be reflected in news activities. We must use Marxist positions, viewpoints and methods to understand, reflect and influence the world, and we must deal with various problems in news work.
Third, the orientation theory
Marxist journalism theory attaches great importance to the tendency and influence of news public opinion to guide people's thoughts and social trends, and attaches great importance to guiding the audience with correct and powerful public opinion, forming great centripetal force and cohesion for the audience and working hard for the ideal of * * *. According to the "orientation theory" of Marxist journalism theory, journalism dominated by the proletariat and society must adhere to the correct direction of proletarian revolution and socialist construction, and must guide its audience along this correct direction with correct public opinion.
Fourth, art theory.
Marxist journalism theory not only attaches great importance to the ideology, militancy and guidance of news propaganda, but also attaches great importance to the artistry of news propaganda, and has formed its own unique view of news art in news practice. These viewpoints are firstly manifested in: Marxist journalism theory pays attention to meeting the needs of the audience and regards the trust of the audience as the condition for the survival and development of journalism.
