What does the teaching style look like?
The Positive Discipline education system adopts a unique "experiential activity" teaching method, which rejects the traditional teaching and learning methods, and allows students to enter the world of the child through interesting activities, role-playing, group discussions, and practice exercises, so that they can change from passive learning to active learning, and find a win-win solution.
Another difference between the Positive Discipline system and many other early childhood education systems is that it does not teach children directly. Positive Discipline programs are offered to parents, teachers, and psychotherapists, but not to children. Rather, it's called How Adults Treat Children, a training for adults.

What does the Positive Discipline tool do?

Positive Discipline tools help children develop the beliefs that "I am loved, I am welcome." and "I am capable, I am welcome. and "I am capable and I can contribute." Two beliefs that are the essence and meaning of belonging and worthiness. This is why all positive discipline tools emphasize the importance of encouragement.
Dreikurs said, "A child needs encouragement like a plant needs water." We teach our children through encouragement the values, qualities, and life skills that can help them become better versions of themselves; however, we need to avoid the false perception that encouragement waters roses into tulips.

What are the goals and core beliefs of positive discipline?
The goal of Positive Discipline is not to help parents change their children into someone else, but to help children become better versions of themselves. Therefore, it is important for adults (parents, teachers, and other caregivers of children) to be aware that positive discipline tools do not immediately change a child's beliefs, even if sometimes they do.
The core philosophy is: no punishment, no arrogance, and kindness and firmness go hand in hand.

What are the series of books on positive discipline?
