Russian dolls (матрiшкаматрешкааа) are made in Russia. The colors are red, blue, green and purple. The most common pattern is a girl dressed in Russian national costume, named "Matt Roska", which has become the general name of this kind of dolls. From the14th century to the present, dolls originated in the ancient Russian town of Zagor (загорск), 70km south of Moscow. Because of the exquisite carving and painting skills of generations of craftsmen and the accumulation of Russian national culture, they are loved by children all over the world.
