What are the traditional festivals in China?

The traditional festivals in China mainly include Spring Festival, Lantern Festival, Tomb-Sweeping Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Double Ninth Festival, Winter Solstice Festival and New Year's Eve.

Spring Festival is a happy festival, which usually includes cleaning, posting Spring Festival couplets, hanging lanterns, posting blessings, eating New Year's Eve dinner and watching the Spring Festival Gala!

On the Lantern Festival, people usually eat Yuanxiao, and in some places there are solve riddles on the lanterns, lights-out parties, lion dances and so on.

Tomb-Sweeping Day, many places will visit graves to worship ancestors!

During the Dragon Boat Festival, we usually eat zongzi at home. In some places, we can go to the river to watch the dragon boat race.

Mid-Autumn Festival is a reunion festival, so families will get together for dinner, laba porridge, moon cakes and so on!

Then comes the winter solstice. In winter solstice, it also means that the weather will get cold, so we eat jiaozi, and in some places we will eat jiaozi!

Finally, it is New Year's Eve. Prepare New Year's Eve, set off firecrackers and so on! At the same time, I will watch the Spring Festival Gala, and the elders will give red envelopes to the children!
