Is gyro playing a world-class intangible heritage?
Gyro is also called playing gyro, playing old cow. Playing gyro is a national intangible heritage, not a world-class intangible heritage. On May 24th, 20021,the State Council approved the fifth batch of national intangible cultural heritage representative projects. Now, more and more people are participating in the traditional national sport of playing gyro. Not only are the people who play gyro getting better and better, but the atmosphere of playing gyro is getting stronger and stronger.
The rule of the gyro competition is that the gyro is played on a flat and barrier-free ground. The defender spins the gyro first, and then the attacker throws his own gyro and hits the defender's gyro, which will knock the defender's gyro out of the competition area, or score points if it rotates longer than the defender's gyro in the competition area. Playing top pays attention to the control of skills and strength, and participants experience speed and passion in the game, which is a popular fitness exercise.
Types of gyroscopes
1, hand-cranked gyro: As early as the Song Dynasty in China, a toy similar to a gyro appeared, which was called "Qian Qian" at that time. Qian Qian is a tiny object about three minutes long. It is placed in a disk made of ivory and rotated by hand to see who can rotate the longest.
2. Whip gyro: Hand-cranked gyro became a favorite game of the Ming court. Then there was a new way to play. When its speed slows down, stops or is crooked, let it be wiped with sleeves, that is, it is remedied by external force. This "sleeve strike" action later became a small rope whip. It's exactly the same as the modern whip gyro.
3. Singing gyro: Singing gyro is also called "empty clock".
