One: Lu Yao's Ordinary World

Many of you have read Ordinary World, and even if you haven't, you must have heard of it.

This book, which won China's third Mao Dun Literature Prize, is Lu Yao's masterpiece and one of the irreplaceable classics in the history of vernacular literature, which is a must-have when it comes to vernacular literature.

The book is based on the story of the struggles of two brothers, Sun Shaoping and Sun Shao'an, and portrays the hardship and poverty of that era, as well as the people's unyielding consciousness.

After reading this book, we may not feel how hard life is anymore, because in every era there are people who have a harder time than us, and they are trying to change their destiny, so who are we to stop moving forward?

Two: Yu Hua's "Alive"

The first time I read "Alive", I was still in high school, and at that time, there were all kinds of books on display in the library, but only this thin book in the corner attracted my eyes, and in this way, I spent an afternoon in this book.

For many years afterward, I often wondered what would have happened to my life if I hadn't read Alive.

I couldn't figure it out because there were so many unknowns, but I knew very well that it was because of reading Alive that I became stronger and matured so quickly. It is a book of life, so to speak.
