Zhenhai tower (also known as the Five-story Tower) stands on the top of Yuexiu Mountain in the northern suburb, with a height of 28 meters. It was built by Zhu Liangzu (1368- 1644), the Hou of Yongjia in the Ming Dynasty, to show off his power and his belief that he could shake the sea and mountains.
