Traditional Guqin music is not only vocal or acoustic, but in most pieces there are titles or inscriptions, which more or less indicate to the scribe the direction of the piece and the musical connotations of the music, or the underlying core of what the music is supposed to express. All the means are at the service of this core. Specific work can be divided into:
One: the solution (to determine the core of the music, music and musical style)
Two: pitch (to determine the melody, tonality and intervals between the convergence, in short, that is, the melodic personality, characteristics)
Three: rhythm (the law of movement, to find out the distinctive characteristics of the rhythmic motifs of their own several, organic arrangement in the place of the arrangements can be made, so that the tempo of music
Four: structure (the overall structure of the piece, including the speed of the arrangement, the strength of the arrangement, the climax of the arrangement, and the relationship between the phrases and sections of the mutual echo)
Summary of the above, with these four points, basically can be completed in the preliminary score, the actual situation is still in the continuous performance tend to improve.
