What is traditional lighting?
The LED industry in China began in 1970s. After 30 years of development, the LED industry in China has initially formed a relatively complete industrial chain, including the production of LED epitaxial wafers, the preparation of LED chips, the packaging of LED chips and the application of LED products. There are many rapidly developing LED enterprises in China. Under the impetus of "National Semiconductor Lighting Project", seven national semiconductor lighting engineering industrialization bases have been formed in Shanghai, Dalian, Nanchang, Xiamen, Shenzhen, Yangzhou and Shijiazhuang. The Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, Fujian Triangle and the northern region have become the gathering places of LED industry development in China.
At present, the semiconductor lighting industry in China has a bright future, and the production and packaging of LED chips have made great progress. The concentrated display of LED lighting in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games has given people a new understanding of LED and promoted the development of semiconductor lighting industry in China. At present, China's semiconductor industry is large but not strong, and its core competitiveness still needs to be further improved. For domestic enterprises, the first task is to expand the scale, improve product quality and technical level, improve the asking price ability of patent authorization in the future, and gradually step onto the world stage.
