The History of Gao Bei Tulou Cluster
The Chengqi Building has attracted much attention and esteem because of its grand scale, unique structure and marvelous layout.
Chengqilou, built by Jiang Jiejie (1635-1719), the fifteenth ancestor of the Jiang family name in Gaotou, took 81 years to complete in 1708, the forty-seventh year of the Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty.
