A simple way to cut pants

1. First draw a long horizontal line to determine the length of the pants, and then draw a vertical line on this long line, which is the waist part of the pants. Its length is 1/4 of a centimeter.

2. Then determine the mid-crotch length, which is the distance from the waist to the top. is 1/4+1 cm. Extend the mid-crotch line 2.5cm to determine the smaller length. This 2.5 cm is a fixed value. Then divide the middle length into three parts, take the closest 1/3 and connect it to the 2.5 cm vertex to draw a rounded arc from this point. And extend to the waist one centimeter downward.

3. Divide the length of the middle crotch line into two equal parts. Draw a parallel line from the midpoint parallel to the bottom edge. This is the middle seam line of the pants.

4. Divide the width of the foot opening by two and divide it into two parts from the middle suture to determine the width of the foot opening. One side of the foot opening is connected to the top of the small crotch and the other side is connected to the middle crotch line. The front piece is cut.

5. Extend the trouser waist line, extend the trouser seam line, and extend the trouser hem line. The length of the back piece is the same as the front piece. We can quickly draw the back piece by just extending these lines.

6. The crotch of the back piece of pants is one centimeter further to the left than the front piece. Then determine the crotch line on this line, which is 1/10 of the hip circumference minus one centimeter. Divide the crotch line into two and draw a smooth arc from 1/2. Go to the 1/3 point of the middle crotch line and extend it to the waistline and two centimeters downward.

7. Finally, the foot opening is the same as the front piece. Make sure the foot opening is connected to the top of the large gear, and the other side is connected to the mid-range line. The waistband of the pants is 1/4, add the dart size to the waist measurement. Then draw a waist, the width of the waist is four centimeters, and the length is your actual waist plus seam. This will make the final film better. Cut two pieces from the front and back pieces, one for the waist. It is the basic building block of a pair of pants.
