The ethnic minorities that organize the Harvest Festival every year are
The Harvest Festival, a traditional agricultural ritual of the Russians in Xinjiang and other parts of the country, is held on the second Sunday of October in the Gregorian calendar. At the end of the harvest, people purposely leave the last sheaf of wheat in the field, remove the weeds around it, and make offerings of bread, salt and milk, to show their gratitude for the gifts of the earth and pray for a bigger harvest in the coming year.
Minorities of Taiwan Province
The Sachilea people of Hualien, Taiwan, celebrate an annual traditional festival called the Harvest Festival, also known as the Harvest Festival. The Harvest Festival is the grandest traditional festival of Taiwan's ethnic minorities, including the Sachilea. Every year, during the grain harvesting season from July to August of the lunar calendar, people dress up in their ethnic festival costumes, sing and dance, celebrate the harvest, honor their ancestors, and pray for a bountiful harvest in the coming year.
