How many forms of Li folk songs are there?

Li people live in Hainan Island. They have men, women and children, and almost everyone can sing and dance. Li folk songs can be sung in Li and Hainan dialects.

The traditional ancient folk songs sung in Li language are mostly five syllables, each song has no fixed number of sentences, and the small category is roughly four sentences. There is a certain rhythm, and the singing form is solo or duet.

Folk songs sung in Hainan dialect are usually composed of seven words and four sentences, which are called "four songs", and long poems are also based on four sentences. There are various forms of singing, including solo and duet, chorus, rotation and chorus, accompanied by instrumental music.
