Load-bearing structure mode of sloping roof

There are three load-bearing structures of sloping roofs: brick walls, roof trusses and reinforced concrete beams and slabs.

Brick wall bearing

Brick wall load-bearing, also known as hard mountain purlin, is to build the internal and external transverse walls of the house into spires, and directly put purlins on them to support the load of the roof. Suitable for opening a smaller house.

Roof truss support

Roof trusses and purlins are placed on the roof to support the roof load. Usually, the roof truss is placed on the longitudinal external wall or column of the house, which makes the house have more room for use. Roof trusses have many forms, such as triangle, trapezoid, rectangle and polygon.

Bearing capacity of reinforced concrete beam and slab

There are two construction methods for reinforced concrete load-bearing structure layer: one is cast-in-situ reinforced concrete beam and roof slab, and the other is precast reinforced concrete roof slab directly placed on gable or roof truss.
