How does Confucius view the relationship between new knowledge and old knowledge, knowledge and practice, and learning and thinking?
In the relationship between knowledge and practice, Confucius thought that "learning from time to time". Learning refers to etiquette, music, shooting and royal four courses; Learning refers to internship. After learning knowledge, we should practice it on time, apply what we have learned to action, and improve our mastery of knowledge in practice.
Regarding the relationship between learning and thinking, Confucius thought that learning and thinking must be combined, and both of them are indispensable. Reading only without thinking through your own mind will make you feel confused; Daydreaming without reading will lead to mental fatigue.
In the relationship between learning and asking, Confucius advocated paying equal attention to learning and asking, not only asking people with higher knowledge than himself, but even asking people with lower knowledge than himself. As long as they have a skill and a good opinion in a certain aspect, they should consult them modestly and don't be ashamed.
True knowledge comes from practice. Book knowledge is both direct and indirect, which requires us to study and study. However, reading alone is not enough. Learning here refers to both social practice and book knowledge. Of course, book knowledge should be analyzed in detail and cannot be accepted in its entirety.
Those who love it are better than those who know it, and those who enjoy it are better than those who love it.
"Knowledge" is just a general "knowledge", which does not cultivate a strong desire and may not be able to persist in learning and achieve results; If you are "good", you will have great initiative. If you have feelings and interests, you will not feel bitter. Joy "enjoys it, deliberately pursues it, that is, from hobbies to interests, becomes an indispensable part of life, and achieves the ultimate goal." This is the highest realm of non-intellectual factors in study and life.
Ignorance is not a serious attitude of seeking truth from facts, but a taboo of medical treatment, which has caused many people's losses and even bad consequences. We must have a realistic and scientific attitude.
