After the Ming Dynasty destroyed the Yuan Dynasty, why did the Mongols quickly become nomads instead of continuing farming?

In the ancient northern history of China, there were many nomadic peoples who had been brilliant, such as Xiongnu, Xianbei, Turkic, Qidan, Jurchen, Tangut and so on. These nomads kept fighting with the Central Plains Dynasty. Although they brought a lot of troubles to the Central Plains Dynasty, they were suppressed by the Central Plains Dynasty most of the time. In other words, although these peoples were once brilliant, they eventually disappeared in the long river of history. But it is said that it has disappeared. In fact, it is only the name that has disappeared, mainly because it has been reorganized, and it has been more integrated by the Han people, becoming a part of the Han people and living in a Han way. However, the Mongols in history have not been reorganized, and they have basically not been integrated by the Han people. They once established the Yuan Dynasty and ruled the whole of China. I lived in the area where the Central Plains Dynasty was located for nearly a hundred years, but it was overthrown by the Ming Dynasty. After returning to Mobei, I lived a nomadic life again. It's as if they have been to the Central Plains once and returned to their home. Haven't they been influenced by China's culture and lifestyle for a hundred years?

This is my view on this issue. First, there are no suitable natural conditions. This is the most critical reason. Mongolians came to the Central Plains, Bashu and Jiangnan areas, where the land was fertile and the climate was suitable for agricultural production. Living in such a place, Mongolians will naturally engage in agricultural production and live according to the farming methods of the Han people. As long as you live according to farming methods, you will live a stable life. However, later the Ming Dynasty drove the Mongols back to Mobei. Besides, after Zhu Yuanzhang and Judy attacked them in turn, they had no land to farm. Including the sixteen States acquired by ethnic minorities in the Five Dynasties, were also included in the territory of the Ming Dynasty. Without arable land, of course, we can only graze cattle and sheep. Grazing cattle and sheep, of course, can only live on water grass, of course, can only live a nomadic life.

Second, I have never studied farming techniques. Some people may say, are you talking nonsense? Mongolians have been in the Central Plains and South China for nearly a hundred years. You can't imagine that they haven't learned farming techniques. I'm not talking nonsense. Because the Mongols entered the Central Plains as the ruling class. After arriving in the Central Plains, they will generally become landlords. As landowners, they only need to collect land rent on time and generally do not participate in labor (unless they are poor Mongolians). I can't take part in labor, so I naturally haven't studied agricultural production technology. In addition, Mongols have always been conceited. They divided the people of the whole country into four classes, and the southern Han people engaged in agricultural production were the ones they despised most. In this way, how can they follow the southern Han people in agricultural production? When Mongolians return to Mobei, they become ordinary people again. When they need to work by themselves, they should herd cattle and sheep.

(Zhu Yuanzhang) Third, he did not follow and returned to Mobei. After the establishment of the Yuan Dynasty, Mongolians moved inward in a large area, distributed in the Central Plains, Bashu, Jiangnan and other places. When the peasant uprising broke out at the end of Yuan Dynasty, a large number of Mongols returned to Mobei. But in fact, only the nobles and many poor Mongolians have returned, or they have married the local people and have in-laws relations. Or engage in agriculture locally. Therefore, they did not actually go back. Coupled with Zhu Yuanzhang's preferential treatment policy for Mongols, there are actually many left. When the Mongolian aristocrats returned to Mobei, they could only rule those Mongolians who had been living in Mobei. And those Mongolians have been living a nomadic life, even if the Mongolian nobles go back, they will not change their way of life. Therefore, this way of life can be continued. (Reference:
