Twelve emotional family forms

The research shows that there are twelve family forms in today's society: empty nest family, struggling family, nuclear family, dink family, accompanying family, left-behind family, traditional family, single-parent family, remarried family, subject family, single-parent family and disabled family.

1. Empty nest family: refers to the family combination form in which children are separated from their parents and families one after another when they grow up, all children work and live outside, and cannot reunite with the elderly for a long time, leaving only an old couple or an old man living alone at home. Empty nest family is the trend of social development and the embodiment of social progress, but at the same time, the loneliness of the elderly has also become a major problem of social family feelings.

2. Shopper's family: This is a family form that appears in modern cities. In fact, there is only one family member, but there are other unrelated family members living with them.

3. Nuclear family: a family combination in which biological parents and older children live together.

4. Dink family: This is a common phenomenon of young white-collar couples in modern cities. It refers to a young couple who have fertility, insist on not having children, and subjectively think that they are the family form of the Dinks. Although Dink family has become a way of life in today's society, emotional problems will inevitably occur in both husband and wife's life and social cognition.

5. Accompanying families: A family form in which children are accompanied by their parents or immediate family members to study or live in cities due to their study or life needs.

6. Left-behind family: refers to the family form in which parents work outside for a long time, leaving only the elderly at home to accompany their minor children to study and live, or there are no adults at all, leaving only minor children to study and live alone. The survey shows that there are quite a few "left-behind children" in rural and urban areas of China today. The parents of these children work outside the home all the year round, so they can't stay with their children and leave them to grandparents or other relatives. "Left-behind children" cannot grow up healthily because of the lack of necessary maternal and paternal love, which will lead to a series of social problems.

7. Traditional family: also known as joint family, this big family has lived together for several generations and is often proud of having four generations under one roof. This is a traditional form of family combination in China.

8. Single family: This family form occupies a certain proportion among young people in modern cities, and it is a family form formed by a man or a woman living alone.

9. Remarried family: A divorced family is reunited with another divorced family to live together.

10, main family: a pair of parents and married children, two families live together.
