Brief introduction of China National Museum

China National Museum, Guo Bo for short, is located in the east of Tiananmen Square and south of East Chang 'an Avenue in the center of Beijing. It is a comprehensive museum that pays equal attention to history and art, and integrates collection, exhibition, research, archaeology, public education and cultural exchange. It belongs to People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Ministry of Culture. 1 By the end of 20 13, the National Museum of China had a total construction area of nearly 200,000 square meters, with over 10,000 pieces of Guo Bo collection/kloc-0 and 48 exhibition halls.
