I have good news for you. Remember the China version of Romeo and Juliet I told you about? Oh, I heard that the opera Butterfly Lovers will come to Tianjin soon. Just as Shakespeare is an important milestone in English literature, opera plays an important role in China's traditional culture and even modern culture. This special opera belongs to Shaoxing branch of China Opera, which is more gentle and romantic than the time and space station belonging to Beijing branch that we saw last week. This will be a completely different experience.

"Butterfly Lovers" will be staged at Tianjin Grand Theatre at 2 pm on August 5th. The story of Liang Zhu is a part of China myth, you can't miss it. The performance ends at 5 pm, so we can go to see the new Three Kingdoms movie afterwards. In addition, if you book at least three days in advance, the theater will offer two special student tickets.
