Introduction of Chaozhou Chaozhou Opera

Chaozhou Opera, also known as Chaozhou Opera and Yin Chao Opera, is an ancient Chinese opera sung in Chaozhou dialect. It is a branch of Southern Opera in Song and Yuan Dynasties, with a history of more than 430 years. Mainly distributed in eastern Guangdong, southern Fujian, Taiwan Province, Hongkong and Southeast Asia. The traditional operas of Chaozhou Opera are divided into two categories: Southern Opera of Song and Yuan Dynasties, Legends of Ming and Qing Dynasties, Civilized Opera and New Historical Opera, with more than 2,000 operas. Traditional plays play an important role in Chaozhou Opera, including Li Jingji, Su six niang and Liu Mingzhu. Traditional opera, such as Sweeping the Window, Ten Debates on Yanglingpo, Noisy Wood, etc., are regarded as "three gems in a hundred flowers tide" because they combine the essence of traditional Chaozhou opera.
