What is the author of Bizen-yaki Takeyama?
Born in the 13th year of the Showa period, Mr. Takeyama studied under the tutelage of his father, Bizen-yaki revivalist Mori Takeyama, and his successor, Mori Kazuhiko, who is also a popular contemporary Bizen-yaki author. In the 14th year of the Heisei era, Mr. Mori was awarded the title of Bizen-yaki Traditional Craftsman. This is a very important honor for Japanese traditional craftsmen, as it requires at least twelve years of experience. Born in Showa 13, Mr. Mori studied under his father, Takeyama Mori, a renowned Bizen-yaki revivalist, and his successor, Kazuhiko Mori, is a popular contemporary Bizen-yaki writer.
