In the Ming Dynasty, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Water Margin, The Journey to the West and Jin Ping Mei were called "Four Wonders". The Water Margin was written in the late Yuan Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty. According to legend, the author is Shi Naian, and it is also based on folk stories, plays and operas. The Water Margin is the first novel describing the peasant uprising. The whole book revolves around the clue that "officials forced the people to revolt", showing the whole process that a group of "heroes" who could not bear the oppression of tyranny rose up in Liangshan, Shui Bo, and attacked them until they accepted the complaint and the uprising failed. The Journey to the West was finally completed by Wu Cheng'en in the middle of Ming Dynasty after countless folk artists and authors made great efforts. It is the best work of China's fairy tales. Jin Ping Mei is the first novel written by a scholar in China. It was written in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, and the author signed it by Lan Shaosheng. First of all, the "four fantastic books" have created four structural modes of Zhang Hui's novels. (1) The Romance of the Three Kingdoms created a "line" structure in chronological order. The structure of The Romance of Three Kingdoms centers on the contradiction between Shu and Han, and unfolds the plot in chronological order, which not only ensures the consistency of development before and after, but also is full of twists and turns. In a clear and clear context, it constitutes a grand and tight structure that is rare in classical novels. (2) The Water Margin created the "ring" structure of Zhang Hui's novels with characters as the order. The successful shaping of 10 or 20 protagonists with distinctive personalities is an important factor for this novel to gain a brilliant artistic life. The novel uses group images to connect the structure, and a main character pulls one hair and moves the whole body, forming a "ring" structure to promote the overall development. (3) The Journey to the West created a "ring" structure with the sequence of events. (4) Jin Ping Mei created the "net" structure of Zhang Hui's novels in the order of time, characters and events.

Secondly, the "Four Wonder Books" created four modes of expression in ancient Zhang Hui's novels. (1) The Journey to the West created an illusory technique of expression. In the book, the author fantasizes about a supernatural world, which not only shows their supernatural divinity and animal attributes, but also finds traces of social personality in the shaping of various ghost images. (2) The Romance of the Three Kingdoms created a realistic expression. (3) The Water Margin has created a legendary expression. (4) Jin Ping Mei created a fictional expression.
