On August 25th, 20 19, I participated in the progressive training activities for new teachers in 20 18 years organized by the District Education Bureau and undertaken by Hunan Vocational College for Nationalities. I was lucky enough to listen to the lecture "Student Management" given by Liu, a famous expert on teachers' continuing education, and I was deeply impressed.
At the beginning of the class, Mr. Liu said that the secret of management is oral communication, which is expressed in seven words: communication, communication and communication again. This shows that language communication plays an important role in management. Effective language communication requires expression and listening. In the lecture, Mr. Liu gave us a vivid lesson from two aspects: verbal communication skills and nonverbal communication skills, explaining the simple words in simple terms, humorous words and surveying ancient and modern examples. In classroom management, we have benefited a lot from such topics as expression skills, listening skills, ten sentences that are not conducive to communication, and twenty-one sunshine quotations that students like to listen to.
Through this study, I have realized more deeply that to be a better teacher, besides having solid basic skills, I must also pay attention to language communication with students in class. The first thing is to learn to express. Our education and guidance to students is achieved through "expression". Learning to express means learning to master and reasonably use various media means to create good effects and quality by improving one's artistic level. Secondly, learn to listen, master and use this way of communication and exchange to understand each other, so that the other party can feel respected and valued in your listening, and be encouraged by your listening. Whether you can listen directly determines your understanding of students, students' response to you and the effect of educational guidance.
In our usual teaching, we often use some inspiring communication and evaluation languages, such as: you are great, you are a good example for everyone, you are really smart, you are really capable and so on. Used to communicate and evaluate students. In order to stimulate students' interest in learning and cultivate their confidence in learning, whenever students complete a task or make progress, I will give them language exchange and evaluation. At the beginning, it did play a certain role, the students' emotions were mobilized and the learning efficiency was obviously improved. But after a long time, we will find that students' praise and encouragement to teachers are not as effective as at first, because the classroom communication method is single and the communication words are simple and repetitive. Encouraging timely communication and evaluating language can really promote students' learning, but if we don't grasp the scale and encourage timely communication and evaluating the frequency of language use, students will mistakenly think that it is easy to get teachers' praise, and their desire for teachers' praise will be reduced, thus migrating to learning indifference. Therefore, in classroom teaching, we should grasp the scale of motivation language, be good at capturing valuable places from students' feedback information and evaluate them according to their personality.
Of course, our timely communication and evaluation should not forget the participation of students. It is necessary to give students the initiative to exchange evaluation, stimulate their awareness of exchange evaluation, give them methods to exchange evaluation, improve their ability to exchange evaluation, and mobilize their enthusiasm for exchange evaluation. We should organically combine teachers' communication evaluation, students' inner communication evaluation, teachers' communication evaluation and students' communication evaluation, so that our classroom can communicate in time.
In class, besides using rich written language, we can also encourage students to use various body languages to enhance emotional communication between teachers and students. If you smile, nod and encourage students with trusting eyes, you can praise students with thumbs up, pat them gently to express your love, or hug them to express the teacher's love for them, so that students can get more psychological satisfaction and better mobilize their active learning.
