What does the queen bee look like?
The queen bee is a female bee with fully developed reproductive organs. Under normal circumstances, there is only one queen bee in the bee colony. The queen bee is larger, longer than the worker bee 1/3, with a long abdomen, wings covering only half of the abdomen, and claw needles at the end of the abdomen. There are no wax glands under the abdomen, feet are not as thick as worker bees, and there is no pollen basket on the hind feet. After mating with drones, they have complete ability to lay eggs. The queen bee can produce fertilized eggs and unfertilized eggs to cultivate new bees, and can also secrete queen bee information to maintain the order of bees.
Characteristics of queen bee
The queen bee can appear anywhere in the nest and spleen. Because the queen bee's main function in the bee colony is reproduction, she will climb to all parts of the nest spleen to lay eggs, so when unpacking, she can often see the queen bee putting her tail into the nest room. In fact, this is the queen bee laying eggs, but the queen bee usually appears in the center of the bee colony. Because there are many worker bees near the queen bee feeding the queen bee, a "center" has been formed.
