Can monkeys see colors?

The vision of monkeys is basically the same as that of humans. The eyesight of ancient monkeys and apes was basically the same as that of human beings. They have trichromatic vision and can see red, green and blue. But now many monkeys are not like this. Monkeys have very different visual patterns. In fact, the same monkey may have six different types of color blindness or vision. As close relatives of human beings, there are more male monkeys suffering from color blindness than female monkeys.

How to prove that monkeys have three kinds of vision? Humans have three kinds of vision, and monkeys have three kinds of vision, namely, red, yellow and blue. Through direct sunlight, red, yellow and blue will be given colder colors in the eyes of monkeys, but there is no difference between humans, so the red, yellow and blue that monkeys see are precisely crimson, orange and dark blue.
