How to convert a computer optical drive into a CD player?

1. Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.

2. Double-click Administrative Tools in the control panel, and then double-click Services in the administrative tools.

3. Find the service named "Shell Hardware Detection" in the right window, and double-click to open it.

4. Click the triangular arrow button of startup type on the General tab, and select Automatic from the drop-down menu that opens.

5. Click the "Start" button in the service status.

6. After setting, click OK to make the changes take effect and close the service window.
