In ancient China, people used the method of "dripping water from a copper pot" to measure time, and divided a day and night into twelve hours, namely, Zi, Ugly, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu and Hai, which correspond to today's twenty-four hours.
