The16th World Cup is the largest one to date. The 32 teams that entered the finals were divided into 8 groups. A total of 64 matches were played in this World Cup finals, which were held in newly built or renovated 10 stadiums all over France. Both the opening match and the final match were held in stade de france, north of Paris, which was magnificent and could accommodate more than 80,000 fans.

17 2002 world cup

17 World Cup was held in Japan and South Korea from May 3/KLOC-0 to June 30, 2002, lasting 1 month, involving 64 events. The opening ceremony was held in Seoul, South Korea, and the final was held in Yokohama Stadium, Japan. The rest of the events are divided equally between the two countries. This is the first time that the World Cup has been held by an Asian country, and it is also the first time in history that it has been jointly held by two countries.

China football entered the World Cup for the first time after 44 years of struggle, but its performance was dull or even mediocre. None of the so-called minimum goals set before the war, that is, "win a game, score a goal and draw a game", has been achieved.
