Can I wear the Buddha if I live in a dark and humid place?

There is no such thing as a Buddha in Buddhism. At least there is no Buddha in Han Buddhism. Moreover, wearing Buddha statues in Buddhism is a taboo. Although Tibetan Buddhism wears Buddha statues, people who wear Buddha statues don't use them as amulets at all. They respect and care as much as their own lives. So if you just want to be blessed, you can't wear the Buddha in a dark and humid place.

Now the so-called living Buddha has been hyped by merchants and lost its original meaning. It is a great sin to wear a Buddha statue to some unclean places to desecrate Buddha and Bodhisattva.
