104 guided missile destroyer Taiyuan (retired)

104 Taiyuan guided missile destroyer and 6607 destroyer (Anshan class) are "Gordy" class destroyers of the former Soviet Union. On June 4th, China was sold to the former Soviet Union 1953, and Qingdao took over 1955 on June 28th. It was one of the "Four donkey kong" in the early days of China Navy.

199 1 retired on September/0/9, 2009, renamed as "Qingdao", and moored at Laohutan, Dalian, as a training ship of Dalian Naval Academy.

The number of the guided missile destroyer was changed from 204 1974 to 104.

1970 completed the modernization modification, and the torpedo was converted into two "upstream" anti-ship missiles, becoming a guided missile destroyer.

1962 on may 17, guided missile destroyers Taiyuan and Changzhou (type 6604) were ordered to set sail to expel the destroyer Gregory DD 802, Fletcher class, which set out from Keelung, Taiwan Province Province and invaded the territorial waters east of Fuzhou for 3.8 nautical miles, and used radar to detect low-altitude flying targets over Fuzhou.

On July 5, 1962, the US Navy destroyer "Buddha? The guided missile destroyer Frank Knox DD 742 (gear class) invaded the territorial waters east of Qingdao and used radar to detect the activities of PLA ships.

The "Taiyuan" ship was ordered to monitor, and the two sides confronted each other for three days, and the American ship quietly left.
