He is Stemi Nanji, 19 13 was born in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, and 1943 died, only living at the age of 29. He is a famous Japanese children's literature writer. His masterpieces include The Son of a Blanket and a Bowl, Grandpa and a Kerosene Lamp with a Glass Cover, Last Year's Tree and so on. Most of his works were published after his death.

Among them, "Last Year's Tree" was selected as the first volume of the fourth grade Chinese textbook of People's Education Publishing House.
