When will it be served during the New Year in China?

Incense wax is once a day in the morning, at noon and in the evening before meals.

The main contents of China's New Year custom are to bid farewell to the old and welcome the new, to accept good luck, to worship gods and ancestors, and to pray for a bumper harvest. The Spring Festival originated from the ancient New Year blessing ceremony. Two primitive beliefs of the ancients: one is the belief in heaven and earth, the other is the belief in ancestors. The ancients believed that the gods were the masters of all things, and that the gods and ancestors of heaven and earth influenced people's life and destiny.

The ancients attached great importance to faith and sacrifice, and took beginning of spring, which was counted from the zodiac, as the first year. At the beginning of the year, they held sacrifices and prayed for the New Year to express their worship, respect and awe of the gods and pray for a bumper harvest. Later, due to the change of the calendar, the New Year usually refers to the first month of the lunar calendar.
