The Origin of Yuanshi House in Lingchuan, Shanxi Province

Yuan 15, also known as "round sheep", "unlocking", "ecstasy lock" and "round lock", is a "coming-of-age ceremony" specially held for children aged 15 (or 12). This custom is popular in Lingchuan area.

According to the general practice, when the children at home are about to reach the age requirement, parents will go to the nearby grandma temple to burn incense and pray in advance. Lingchuan county usually goes to Xixi Erxian Temple. Mr. Feng Shui chooses an auspicious day to "unlock" the child through divination and the child's birthday. After the auspicious day of the ecliptic is selected, parents should inform relevant relatives to participate.

At present, the origin has been difficult to verify, but it has been gradually passed down.
