What is Red Sand Day?

Red Sand Day refers to the Mid-Autumn Festival in silver moon, Mitsuki, Shen Yue and Haiyue.

Every quarter of the year is divided into-Meng Yue, mid-June and Yue Ji. According to the four seasons-spring, summer, autumn and winter. They are Meng Chun (silver moon), Zhong Chun (Uzuki) and Ji Chun (Chen Yue); Xia Meng (Mitsuki), midsummer (noon), the last month of summer (no month); Qiu Meng (Shen Yue), Zhong Qiu (about), Qiu Ji (Xu Yue); Meng Dong (Haiyue), Winter Solstice (Ziyue) and Ji Dong (Ugly Yue).

The month mentioned here is a Gregorian calendar month (not a lunar calendar month, nor a Gregorian calendar month), which is subject to solar terms and does not depend on the first day. Every two solar terms are one month.

Silver moon:

Silver moon, also known as the first month, is the first month of the official calendar, with solar terms ranging from beginning of spring to fright.

In addition, in China's ancient calendar, there were "three rectifications" or "three constructions": Zhou Dynasty was 1 1 month (called "Jian Zi"), Yin Dynasty was1February (called "Jian Domain"), and Xia Dynasty was January (called "Yin Jian"). "Building" refers to the place pointed at the top of the Big Dipper and the bucket handle.

Therefore, it is called "Li Xia". After the changes of "Jian Chou" (Yin Dynasty) and "Jian Zi" (Zhou Dynasty), the Xia system was restored in the Eastern Han Dynasty, which is still in use today. The calendar we use is actually a combination of yin and yang, and the summer calendar is often called the "lunar calendar" in the almanac, which is actually inaccurate.
