What is the legend of Wang Fuyun in Dali?

This magical cloud has a touching name, and people call it Wang Fuyun. The Bai people have a beautiful legend about the origin of the name Wang Fuyun. It is said that more than 1000 years ago, King Nanzhao had a beautiful and kind princess. Her eyes are as bright as Erhai Lake, and her heart is as pure as Qingbi Stream water. The princess is nineteen years old, and the Nanzhao king hasn't recruited Xu yet. The prince and grandchildren competed to propose to her, but no one agreed.

In the spring of this year, the azaleas were in full bloom on Cangshan Mountain, and the princess met a young hunter at the grand party around Sanling. The hunter lost his parents when he was a child, lived alone in the cave of Jade Bureau Peak, and hunted for a living. The princess sympathized with the hunter. When she saw that the hunter was handsome and tall, she fell in love with him. The hunter saw that the princess was handsome, kind to people and liked her very much.

Since falling in love with the hunter, the princess has been thinking about him, thinking that she can't eat during the day and can't sleep well at night. One day, King Nanzhao suddenly told the princess that she had been betrothed to a great army general and that she would get married on an auspicious day. Hearing the unexpected news, the princess cried anxiously all night and her eyes were swollen. The next morning, as soon as the morning mist cleared, the princess stood at the window sadly. Red and swollen eyes stare blankly at the green hills, full of thoughts, and the heart is in chaos. A magpie flew out of nowhere and stood on the branch in front of the window, chirping incessantly, which made the princess more agitated.

Little magpie, little magpie. Do you know the sadness in my heart? The princess said anxiously.

The little magpie gently nodded twice.

The princess immediately said, "Little Magpie, please give a message to the hunter of Jade Bureau Peak to come and save me."

The little magpie nodded and flew away.

The little magpie flew all the way to Jade Bureau Peak. At this time, the hunter had just returned from hunting in Yunnong Peak and was preparing to enter the cave. The little magpie stopped on the osmanthus tree at the mouth of the cave and chirped at the hunter.

The hunter asked strangely, "Little Magpie, do you have anything to say to me?" ? '

The little magpie said,' Nanzhao king wants to marry the princess to a general, and the princess wants you to save her quickly.'

Since the hunter met the princess, he thinks about her every day. Now he heard that the princess was getting married, and his heart was like burning a pot of fire. He picked up his bow and arrow and ran down the hill. On the way, he saw a white-haired old man limping ahead with a basket on his back.

The hunter asked him:

Grandpa, where are you going? What happened to your leg? The old man replied:

I went to the mountain to collect medicine and accidentally broke my leg. Alas, I'm afraid I can't go home until dark! '

Grandpa, let me carry you! '

The old man didn't refuse, so he hurried on the hunter's back. After walking for a while, the old man asked the hunter:

Young man, you left in a hurry. what can I do for you? '

Seeing that the old man was kind, the hunter told him that he was going to save the princess.

The palace walls are so high and the guards in the palace are so strict. How are you going to save the princess? ! '

Grandpa, how can I save the princess? '

The old man thought for a moment and said to him:

There is a peach tree on the steep cliff in the phoenix eye cave. If you eat the peaches on this peach tree, you can save the princess. However, picking peaches is not easy. Nobody has picked it yet! As long as you can save the princess, you are not afraid of any big difficulties. '

As soon as the hunter finished speaking, he suddenly felt a little lighter on his back. Looking back, the old man on his back had already disappeared. He thought: Cangshan God must have come to help him. He bowed to the top of the mountain and went straight to the Danfengyan Cave.

The hunter went to the Phoenix Eye Cave and stood on the fairy bed and looked down. He saw a straight cliff reaching into the abyss below. There is really a peach tree on the steep cliff, and the peach on the tree shines red in the green leaves. If you climb down this cliff, you will be killed! But in order to save the princess, the hunter went on without hesitation. He finally climbed to the edge of the peach tree, picked a big red peach and began to eat. As soon as the peach was eaten, all his fatigue disappeared at once. He lifted his feet gently and flew into the sky. Hunters hover in the sky like eagles. He clearly saw the islands and fishing boats in Erhai Lake and the majestic Nanzhao Palace in Dali City.

That night, the hunter flew into the palace in the bright moonlight and took the princess to the Jade Bureau Peak. The princess and the hunter were married in the cave of Jade Bureau Peak. They went hunting together during the day, plowed together and sang happily together at night. Their caves are full of laughing dragon girls, dancing jasmine flowers, azaleas and camellias ... they live happily in this hundred flowers garden.

After the princess disappeared, Wang Tiantian of Nanzhao sent someone to look for her, but never found her whereabouts. King Nanzhao was in a hurry, so he invited Master luoquan to discuss. Master luoquan, a monk of luoquan Temple in Haidong, is treacherous and practices various spells. As soon as he entered the palace, he told Nanzhao King that he used the magic lamp to see the princess and hunter who lived on the Jade Bureau Peak in Tianjingge.

King Nanzhao was so angry that he could not speak for a long time. He thought that the princess of Nanzhao King married a hunter in private. Where should I put my face? ! He thought, if you can't manage your own girls, how can you manage people in the future? ! The more he thinks about it, the angrier he gets. He will lead an army to Cangshan to catch princesses and hunters. Master luoquan said to Nanzhao King:

Hunters have extraordinary skills. They can't get it, but things get around and they will be laughed at by the people. Let me subdue them with magic! '

So Master luoquan sent a crow to Cangshan to deliver letters.

The hunter and the princess sat on the grass in front of the cave, singing happily. Suddenly, a crow flew in, flapping its wings and talking to them. Claiming to be sent by Master luoquan to call the princess back to the palace. It says that if the princess doesn't go back, the mage will block Cangshan with snow and let her and the hunter freeze to death on Cangshan.

The princess said to the crow:

I married a hunter, and I will live and die with him. '

After the crow flew away, the clear sky suddenly became dark, the north wind roared, and then large pieces of snowflakes fell. It snowed harder and harder, and the whole Dali dam turned white, and the whole Cangshan Mountain was covered with heavy snow. Three feet of snow was piled up at the entrance of their cave, and the biting destroyer Snow Wind poured it directly into the cave. The skins hanging at the mouth of the cave were blown away by the strong wind, the wood was blocked at the mouth of the cave, crushed by the heavy snow, and the storm blew away the firewood.

Master luoquan has an eight-treasure cassock. It's warm in winter and cool in summer. I'll get it for you. It can withstand the snowstorm. '

The princess said anxiously:

Master luoquan blocked Cangshan with heavy snow just to kill us. If you go to luoquan Temple to get the cassock, wouldn't it be a trap? Don't go! '

The hunter comforted the princess and said,

How many wolves, tigers and leopards died at my hands? That mage is nothing! Don't worry, I'll be back soon. '

The hunter went to the mouth of the cave, spread out his arms, jumped into the air, faced the snowstorm and flew to Haidong. He flew to luoquan Temple. He picked up his robe from Master luoquan's meditation seat, tied it around his waist and flew back to Jade Bureau Peak. When he flew over Erhai Lake, Master luoquan suddenly chased him out of the temple, chanting a spell and hitting the futon straight at the hunter. The futon hit the hunter.

Facing the snowstorm, the princess waited for her husband's return in the cave. She waited from morning till night, and from night till dawn, but her husband was never seen. Just when she was extremely anxious, the crow sent by luoquan told her that the hunter had been killed by luoquan, fell into Erhai Lake, turned into a stone mule, and was buried at the bottom of the sea forever. The princess was sad and angry. A few days later, she died in the cave. After her death, her vitality has been rushing to the peak of the jade bureau. Turning into white clouds, it suddenly rises and falls, as if visiting the depths of Erhai Lake. At this time, white clouds are floating over Erhai Lake, echoing the white clouds at the summit. Suddenly, the wind blew hard and set off huge waves until the sea was blown away and stone mules appeared, and the wind and waves stopped.

From then on, this kind of white cloud that appears on the Jade Bureau Peak every December is called Wang Miyun.
