Regarding the creation date of Li Sao, Sima Qian said in the preface to Historical Records Taishi Gong: "Qu Yuan was demoted and wrote Li Sao." In other words, Qu Yuan wrote it after he was exiled.

Nowadays, people have different opinions about this. Some say that Qu Yuan did it after he was demoted, or that Qu Yuan did it after he was demoted to the king of Chu. Some say that it was done at the end of the Qing Dynasty, and some say that it originated from it, sometimes at the beginning. So far, there is no conclusion.

Li Sao is a political lyric poem written by Qu Yuan according to the political reality of Chu State and his own grievances. Because the twists and turns describe the poet's life experience, thoughts and circumstances, some people regard it as an image record of Qu Yuan's life course and call it the poet's autobiography.

The first chapter (line 53): The poet wrote from his family background and origins, reviewed his life's efforts, pursuits, struggles and failures, and expressed his unswerving spirit and unrepentant attitude with grief and indignation.

The fifth chapter (how to vote) 2 1 line; After careful consideration, the poet ended his wandering, recognized the "auspicious divination" of the spiritual atmosphere, and chose "auspicious day" to start.

However, the trip full of longing was abandoned halfway because of "worrying about Chu": "Bend over and stop." As a result, I can only choose to die for my country, "go back with Peng Xian!"
