1, Flower Street and Temple Fair stand for good luck in Guangdong. I hope I can get a good omen and have better luck.

2, lion dance, during the major festivals in Guangdong, different lion dance teams will perform on the street, and many people will hang red envelopes at their doorsteps for the lion dance team to pick up, which means that people are safe and auspicious.

3. Buying kumquat is of special significance in kumquat trees in Guangdong. Many Cantonese people will buy a pot of kumquat in the New Year, hoping for prosperity and peace in the coming year.

Drinking morning tea is also indispensable in Guangdong. Many elderly Cantonese will order some food, drink tea, read newspapers and chat in the teahouse in the morning.

5, the big gift, the most grand engagement ceremony, about fifteen to twenty days before the wedding. When the man chooses an auspicious day, he will go to the woman's house to send a bride price. The custom in Guangdong is to give gifts to chickens (meaning alive), coconuts (meaning blessed by grandpa and son) and cakes (for the relatives of the woman), and also to give gifts, indicating that the man's family is rich and will let the woman get married and enjoy happiness.
